Like many other endeavors, the project is responding to the departmental need of peer interaction and support in the process of T & L. It reflects a ‘disruptive-innovation’ mindset to work out pedagogical enhancement when riding through the pandemic juggernaut. The project values a lot of mental inputs and physical support from the young, including current students and project teammates as slashers, which we would like to define as “Student-led 2.0” . It also aims at a full-swing try-out of the ESE mindset to subjects of different programs of APSS in the hope of achieving two of the important university Strategic goals: ‘enhance the student learning experience through the use of interactive pedagogies’, and ‘transform physical and virtual learning spaces to facilitate new teaching and learning pedagogies’. Also, it tries to investigate the demand for digital learning platforms and tools according to the need of students in PolyU, and uplift the quality of peer learning and peer interaction and student assessments via these e-platforms. Apart from that, it manages to modify current pedagogical endeavors of concerned subjects to fit with the future trend of virtual teaching and learning needs. Last but not least, it seeks to save up more physical seminar/tutorial room space for the use by those subjects that could be less flexible to non-F2F teaching and learning patterns.
