Effective use of technology in social work education not only will improve students’ learning experience, but also help nurture future generation of social workers who are competent in using innovative approaches to address social issues and promote social good. To improve undergraduate social work students’ skills learning and competence in delivering technology-supported social interventions, the objectives of the project are to:
- to create a series of online, interactive tutorials for a social work practice subject;
- to evaluate the impact of the online interactive tutorials on students’ learning experience;
- to develop a technology-supported social work skills workbook; and
- to evaluate the impact of the workbook on students’ practice skills learning, engagement in peer learning and perceived competence in technology-supported intervention skills.
